What are the green pins?
These are starter spots Atovia added first. A blank map gets ignored, so while putting together the 12 tracks we filled it with worth-visiting places, mostly public spots. We don't add specific businesses — that would just be advertising. Orange pins are places members added themselves, and that's the real heart of this map.
How do I post?
Add a location when you write a post, and it goes up on the map here as a pin. Anywhere works — a place you ate, a place you visited, a place that was good for resting.
What counts as something I ate?
We use the same meal criteria as Myeonhoewon's 〈Jeonghwa〉 practice guide — can you choose what you eat (Korean buffets, home-style diners), is it minimally processed (porridge shops, gukbap houses), are vegetables the star (gimbap loaded with veggies), can you ask what's in it. Temple food is an easy place to start, since it skips the five pungent vegetables and meat.
For seed listings we've only added the market and the temple-food experience hall — picking out specific restaurants ourselves would make it feel like an ad. Restaurants get added by members.
Where does this go?
Savor LodgeTogether, we build the Rest Map out of these posts. It's not a list of places chosen for ads, but places real people actually went — which is what makes it a map you can trust.
