hands acting up again

Hands felt rough again by the end of the day, worse right after a long stretch of typing through back-to-back meetings. Kept doing the small things anyway:

– lukewarm shower, no hot water on the hands
– fragrance-free wash, same one as before
– moisturizer right after, while everything was still damp
– unscented lotion again before bed

The patch behind my ear is calmer today, barely noticed it until I sat down to write this. Hands are the stubborn part. Not sure if it’s the screen time itself or just how tense my shoulders get typing through deadline emails, my hands kind of curl in when I’m stressed and I never really noticed that before I started paying attention.

Skipped the new laundry detergent load again, just to keep that variable out of the notebook for now. Feels almost too careful, like I’m turning laundry into an experiment, but I’d rather know than guess…

Baked a loaf after dinner and my hands were fine with the flour and kneading, honestly. So it’s not everything. Just the typing days, it seems.

Never noticed my hands doing that either until someone mentioned it. Mine tense up the same way but it’s my feet, toes curl by hour eight standing and I don’t catch it till I sit down. Three weeks of trying to notice it in the moment instead of after, still slow going. Good the ear patch eased off today, that’s usually my first sign too. Hands always lag behind the rest though.

the hands curling in when you’re stressed hit me, never noticed that in myself either! mine shows up as legs swelling by evening, on my feet almost 9 hours a day at work. how long has the hand thing been going on for you, just this stretch of deadlines or longer than that?
