Slept in late after my night shift ended around 7am, so the whole day felt backwards from the start. Spent the afternoon kneading dough, and my hands were in flour and water for a good while, which usually sets things off, but they actually held up fine this time!
What I kept:
– moisturizer right after washing hands, every time, even mid-knead
– humidifier running in the kitchen while the oven was going
– short lukewarm shower instead of my usual longer one
What I skipped:
– no gloves while kneading, just didn’t bother
– the extra hydrating mask I usually do before bed
Neck felt a little warm by evening but nothing new showed up, so I’ll take it. Been putting off dealing with a savings account I’ll probably need to break soon, and today at least gave me one less thing to think about. Bread came out dense but edible.
