hands calm after baking

Baked a loaf this weekend and my hands actually held up fine through the flour and the kneading, which caught me off guard because typing all day at the office is usually what sets them off, not baking.

Went back through the notebook and it looks like the flare on the back of my neck calmed down around the same stretch I switched to the fragrance-free wash, but I honestly can’t tell if that’s the wash doing something or just work easing up for a bit. The itching on the backs of my hands came back hard on the drive home though, right after a long run of meetings and typing up notes for a deadline.

Kept the routine boring on purpose this week, same wash, same moisturizer right after the shower, nothing new added in, no new detergent either since the last one seemed to line up with the neck getting worse.

Still not sure if that notebook is telling me anything useful or if I’m just giving myself more to think about at night, but the hands are calm right now and I’ll take it.
