stress on my neck again

Back on here after a while, work’s been relentless and it’s landing right on my neck and jaw again. Woke up already itching before coffee, which is never a great sign for a Monday!

What I kept today: fragrance free lotion after the shower, cool water instead of hot even though I wanted hot so badly, and the softer collar shirt instead of the scratchy one.

What I didn’t: no walk outside like I meant to, sat at my desk way too long staring at spreadsheets, and by evening my neck was flushed and warm to the touch.

Put a cold compress on before dinner and it calmed down some. Not a great day for my skin, but at least I did the basics instead of skipping everything the way I have been lately. Back to it tomorrow!

    How long did the cold compress stay on before it calmed down? Mine usually takes about 15 minutes to bring the redness down
