Typed for almost 6 hours straight today because of a deadline push, and by 3pm my knuckles were cracked enough that closing my hand around my coffee mug actually stung. The patch behind my left ear was itchy the whole 90-minute drive home too.
Logged it in the notebook like I’ve been doing for a few weeks now — same breakfast as always, about 6 hours of sleep, nothing new with the laundry since we’re still on the same detergent from last month. The one thing that did change is the fragrance-free body wash I switched to maybe 3 weeks ago, and I honestly can’t tell if that’s doing anything or if work has just been calmer since.
Starting to wonder if this notebook is actually catching a pattern or if I’m just staring at the same three variables every night. Does anyone else notice their hands get worse specifically on heavy typing days, separate from stress in general — and how do you tell a stress flare apart from a reaction to something like detergent when they look about the same on the skin?
