Body Time ›Daily Routine

the soak actually helped

He was up around 2am scratching at his elbow again, but today ended up being a decent day for him overall.

Morning routine was the usual — lukewarm shower, pat dry, moisturizer on while skin’s still damp. Did that again after lunch and once more before bed, so 3 times total, which is more than we usually manage on a weekday.

Around 4pm he did a 10 minute soak, just plain water, nothing added, then moisturized right after. That actually seemed to calm the redness down more than the shower routine did. Not totally sure why, might be the temperature, might just be timing.

I work from home so I was at my desk most of the day, half listening for him instead of texting back and forth. Doodled a bit between calls, which is kind of my version of a break these days.

Neck and behind the knees are still a bit rough, but the elbow looked better by evening. Started actually writing this stuff down in a notebook instead of just trying to remember what worked.
