typing day, tight hands

Tree Plant

Hands were already tight by the time I sat down at my desk this morning, before I’d even opened my laptop. Yesterday was one of those days where I didn’t stop typing until almost 6, and I could feel it in my knuckles the second I started today.

Kept up with the routine anyway:
– lotion right after the shower, unscented
– reapplied at a red light on the drive in
– reapplied again around 11am once I noticed I’d been scratching without realizing it

By 3pm the neck patch was flaring too, right where my collar sits. Didn’t touch it, just noted the time in the notebook and kept going.

Got home and made bread anyway, kneaded for a while with bare hands, half expecting the flour to make it worse (it’s flour, of course I worried). It didn’t. Hands looked about the same after as before, maybe a little dry from the flour itself but no new redness.

Cream again before bed, thicker one this time. Notebook’s on day 14 now. Some days line up with a bad flare, some days don’t, and today didn’t really settle it either way.
