Reopened the budget spreadsheet tonight and just sat there for a minute before typing anything. Been a while, long enough I forgot half the categories I used to have.
Went through the last few weeks of card statements — a lot of it was pharmacy stuff and creams for her, more than I expected honestly. Not complaining, just noticing.
Added a new ‘misc/comfort’ category this time since last round everything got dumped into ‘other’ until the whole sheet was useless.
Sat at my desk pretty much all day again (work from home, nothing new) and doodled in the notebook margin while the numbers loaded… not sure why that helps but it does.
Small start. Just wanted to log that I actually opened the thing again instead of just thinking about it!
