Day 9 of not opening my email once I get on the train home. Left the office at 5:40, caught the 5:52, and for the whole ride I just sat there instead of pulling out my phone the second I sat down like I usually do.
First few days felt kind of pointless not going to lie, my hands were just as bad either way. But last night and this morning the backs of my hands look calmer than they have in maybe 3 weeks, less flaky along the knuckles.
What I did today:
– no email from 5:40 to 7:10 (door to door is about 90 minutes)
– wrote in the notebook that Tuesday and Wednesday this week were both under 6 hours of sleep
– hands were worse this morning after a long stretch of typing yesterday, same as usual
Not sure yet if the email thing is doing anything or just a slower week at work. Going through day 14 before I decide. Anyone else notice their hands get worse on heavy typing days, or is that just me overthinking this notebook. And is 90 minutes on a train enough time to tell anything, or do I need more like a month.
