[Making] three evenings in a row

Third evening in a row pulling the knitting bag out after the kids are in bed instead of leaving it on the shelf where it’s been sitting since spring.

First night was mostly just relearning how to hold the needles without feeling like my hands forgot everything. Second night was better, actual rows that look like rows and not a tangled mess. Tonight I got through a good stretch of it with the cat trying to bat at the yarn the entire time, which is apparently just going to be the ongoing soundtrack to this project!

Unisex winter slippers crafted from cotton fabric in a combination of blue and gray hues.

Not trying to finish anything in particular yet, just telling myself if I keep doing this most evenings for a couple weeks, it’ll stick without needing to think about it so hard.

Hands feel a little more sure of themselves than they did a few nights ago, for whatever that’s worth.

Three nights running with a cat trying to steal the yarn sounds exactly like how it goes here. The first 2 weeks were the hard part for me, after that it stopped feeling forced.
