Watched a dermatology webinar a friend sent me since my case leans seborrheic/psoriasis, not classic eczema, and most advice never quite fits. The part that stuck: scrubbing every flake off in the shower actually slows healing because you’re peeling the barrier off while it’s still trying to close. Layering order matters less than giving each layer time to sink in first. Been patting dry and waiting instead of picking since, skin feels less tight by evening though it’s only been a little while so I can’t say much yet… anyone else here dealing with the seb derm/psoriasis mix instead of textbook eczema? either way, less scrubbing, more waiting, that’s the gist of it.
