Something clicked watching a stream last week, not even a skin channel, just someone I watch play games. They had a timer going off every 40 minutes that made them stand up and stretch before jumping back in. Chat said it was for their wrists, but it got me thinking about something else.

I work from home and game most nights after, so I’m in the same chair from 9am until whenever I close the laptop. During a flare I always figured the itching just showed up out of nowhere, but it doesn’t, I just don’t notice I’m doing it until my arm’s raw because I’m too locked into the screen to feel it happening.
Set the same kind of timer for myself, every hour on the hour. First few days I ignored it more than I listened, but by the second week I was actually getting up. The difference wasn’t the itch disappearing, it was catching it earlier instead of loosing a whole hour to scratching without realizing. Figured some of you guys deal with the same zone-out thing during long sessions, work or gaming either one. Wasn’t expecting that to come from a gaming stream of all places.
