Took a free intro class on skin barrier basics a few weeks back, mostly to kill time while packing boxes for the move.
Most of it was stuff I already knew, but one part from the instructor stuck with me. She said stop logging what you ate and start logging the weather and what happened right before a flare, since food gets blamed but a temp swing is usually the real trigger.

So I started a plain log – date, temp, humidity, stress level 1-5, nothing fancy.
3 weeks in and there is an actual pattern. Any time the temp drops more than 10 degrees in a day, my hands flare within 48 hours, no matter what I ate that week. The moving stress didn’t show up nearly as much as I expected, the weather swings were doing more of the damage than I gave them credit for.
Small thing, but it changed what I actually check first thing in the morning now. Not my meals. The forecast.
