saw this guy at a craft fair today, working with calipers on a piece he had on the lathe…
just stood there for like ten minutes watching him measure the same spot again and again before he’d even touch the wood again lol
kinda embarrassing tbh. ive been packing for the move all week and just tossing stuff into boxes without even looking at it twice
meanwhile this guy’s measuring three times before he does anything
i sit at a desk all day for work and then game until 1am, my hands dont really do anything but type and click haha
watching someone use their hands like that was weirdly calming though
still got like two weeks before the move. gonna try to slow down a little, we’ll see if that actually happens haha
