Typed all day for work then my hand just grabbed a pencil on its own.
Sketched a logo idea right next to the keyboard, on the notebook I was supposed to be donating before the move.
Ended up keeping it. Couldn’t toss that page.
Two months into packing and this is the first thing I’ve decided NOT to get rid of!
That moment when your hand just goes rogue and does its own thing is the best. I’m relearning guitar right now and found an old chord sheet I’d doodled all over in the case, meant to toss it during a clean out and couldn’t. Glad you kept the page instead of donating the whole notebook.
There’s something about your body doing its own thing while your mind is somewhere else. My legs do that after a full shift on my feet, they swell by evening no matter what I want, no permission needed. Different situation but the same idea, something happening underneath while you’re busy with something else entirely. The part where you kept it gets me though.
