Saw this one scrolling through today’s photo tag and sat with it for a minute.
Someone walking that whole road alone, arms full of branches, no bag, no cart, just carrying it the old way. Hills on both sides and not another person anywhere in the shot.
I’ve been at this desk since 9am. Same four walls, same chair, same screen. My legs haven’t done anything today except carry me to the kettle and back.
We’ve still got boxes half packed for the move and I keep putting off the shed because it means standing up and dealing with actual things instead of tabs. Something about a person walking a real road with a real load makes my whole day look kind of soft next to it.
Not in a bad way, more just noticing it. My work doesn’t ask my body to do anything most days, and I don’t think about that until a photo like this one shows up.
