Made pasta from scratch tonight, nothing fancy, just garlic, olive oil, and whatever vegetables were still good in the fridge before they went bad.
I’ve had back to back calls most of this week, and by the time evening rolls around my neck and shoulders are completely locked up (typing this while stretching my neck right now, not even joking). Cooking’s turned into the one thing that actually gets me out of the chair and using my hands for something other than a keyboard.
Chopped everything slower than I needed to, let the sauce simmer longer than the recipe called for, didn’t check my phone once while it was going. Ate at the actual table instead of my desk, which felt like a small win on its own.

Doesn’t really count as exercise but it’s the closest thing to a break my body gets some days… figured I’d post the plate instead of another complaint about my shoulders.
