Stood on the platform for a good 10 minutes before the train pulled in, just watching everyone with their bags shuffle past each other to get on.
Felt strange being out in real shoes instead of slippers, not gonna lie. Had an interview this morning, the first one in almost a year since I started looking around again, and I’d forgotten how much a commute actually wakes you up compared to rolling straight from bed to desk.
Neck was already tight by the time I sat down, which tells you something about how little I move these days even on a “big” day. Did the shoulder roll thing from the kettle trick right there on the platform (felt a little silly, but nobody was watching).

Train ended up 2 minutes late, of course! Watched some guy help an older woman get her suitcase up the step and kept thinking about how much of a day is just small handoffs like that between people you’ll never see again.
Interview went okay, I think… back home now with the ice pack on my neck like always.
