Desk at 7am today, laptop already open, and that GoPro finally out of the drawer after sitting in there for 3 years.
Client wants short vertical clips for a wellness brand this month, so I spent the morning digging through old notebooks looking for a pitch I wrote back when I still thought I had the whole freelance thing figured out (I did not, for the record).
Found the pitch. Also found about six other idea lists I’d completely forgotten I ever wrote.
The bushes outside that window have needed trimming for 2 weeks now. Every morning I notice them, then open the laptop instead.
