no kids waking here since mine’s in middle school now, but my two cats pull the same move, quiet for maybe 10 minutes then meowing at the door for breakfast

tried it again this morning, coffee before the cats caught on, and it held a little longer before the meowing started at the door. small stretch but it made the morning feel calmer for once
