Running the shop solo most days, so a moment like that where it’s quiet enough to just sit down for once really hits different for me. Had a regular drop off a jar of honey back in July, wouldn’t take a dime for it either, and it made my whole week honestly.

a short walk once things empty out sounds perfect after being on your feet all day. that tomato trade from the regular was kind of them. walked 15 minutes near 9 after my own shift, same cooler air feeling.
