Foggy edges

Three nights now on maybe 4 hours of sleep, work piling up out of nowhere then going dead quiet for a week, driving my parents to appointments in between, and my skin’s started flaking along my jaw again like it always does when things get like this.

I keep telling myself I’ll go to bed earlier, and then it’s midnight and I’m still finishing something that could’ve waited.

Started running a few weeks ago thinking it’d help me sleep better, and some days it does, but today just felt tired in that itchy, dry, can’t-settle way. Not the good tired.

Meals have been whatever’s closest, skipped lunch again today, and I can feel it in my skin before I even see it in the mirror. Just one of those weeks where everything’s a little grey around the edges.

skipping lunch always shows up on my jaw for me too, does eating something small even help?

running some days helps but the itchy dry kind of tired never really goes away with it

the jaw thing before things even fully hit is such a specific tell, mine does the same along my hairline when things pile up like that. i had a stretch about 2 months ago with maybe 5 hours of sleep a night and it was the exact same itchy tired, not the good kind at all
