Been job hunting for a few weeks now and money’s tighter than usual, so I finally redid my budget. Of course my skin picked this exact time to flare! Scalp’s flaking nonstop and my hairline’s red too. I keep putting off the dermatologist because of the cost, but it’s not getting better on its own. Anyone else had to choose between treating a flare and paying bills?

job hunting stress alone is rough on skin, no wonder it flared. how long has the scalp been flaking? i’d try an otc medicated shampoo first before spending on a derm visit

The money-versus-skin timing is brutal honestly, it always seems to hit right when funds are already tight. How long has the scalp flaking been going on for you? Mine flared up about 2 months ago and I still havent booked anything because between job stress and the cost (its always the cost) it felt like one more thing to juggle.
