New haircut, nowhere left to hide

Had a phone interview at 2pm today and spent the morning picking flakes off my scalp so they wouldn’t show on camera. It’s not eczema, just a dry patch behind my ear that won’t quit. Cut my hair short last month so now there’s nowhere to hide it. Opened my budget spreadsheet later and just stared at the numbers. Didn’t even feel like knitting tonight, just wanted my skin to behave for one hour.
