Oil treatment, hairline calmer

Tried overnight coconut oil on my scalp this week, towel over the pillow so it doesn’t wreck the sheets. Did it 3 nights straight.

Flaking along my hairline calmed down a bit, but the itch further back barely moved. Also tried not touching it during the day, lasted about half a day before I caved.

Knitting between job applications at least keeps my hands off my scalp for a while. Not great, not worse either.

The hairline easing up while the itch further back barely budges tracks with what I saw when I tried oiling mine, though I quit after night 4 since it just felt greasier with no real payoff back there either. Keeping your hands busy with knitting instead of scratching makes sense, that’s basically my stress ball during job hunting and it never lasts long.

the itch further back never eased up for me either, sitting still just made me pick at it

Coconut oil never really touched the itch at the back of my head either, it’s always the front that responds first for some reason. I stuck with it for a good stretch a while back before I gave up on it, hairline and eyebrows calmed down some but the crown stayed itchy no matter what I put on it.
