Unpacked another box tonight

Not looking for advice, just need to get this out. He was up again, scratching through his shirt before I caught it. Went in for an early shift anyway and stood through the whole thing like nothing happened. Came home and unpacked antoher box because the move doesn’t wait for anyone to feel okay. Nobody asked how I was. I don’t think anyone noticed I wasn’t. (just worn down, not broken) Some nights you just keep moving because stopping isn’t an option.

The nobody noticed part got me, you just keep moving because stopping isn’t an option. Had about 3 weeks like that during our move last year, unpacking past midnight more than once with no one asking how I was either.

Did the same after a 12 hour day, no one asked either, you just keep going

Shift work does this, you stop noticing if anyone’s asking because you’re just getting through the next task. Had a night like that 3 weeks ago, came home past midnight and still folded a load of laundry because it wasn’t going to fold itself. Worn down but not broken is the right way to put it, there’s a real difference and most people can’t tell.

sent out 3 job applications last night after a long shift and didn’t tell a single person, so I get that nobody noticed thing more than I’d like
