Snapped over coffee today

3 hours of sleep last night and I was snapping at everything today. Spilled coffee on my desk and nearly threw the mug across the room, which, over coffee?! Not like me at all.

I know the itching messes with my sleep but I didn’t think it messed with my personality too. By 2pm I felt like a completely different person, short with everyone, zero patience for small talk.

Does the flare stuff ever make you moody before you even notice the skin part? Or is this just regular tired-brain and I’m pinning it on the itch because that’s easier to blame?

mine does that too, snaps first, itch after

Same question here, is it worse on nights after bad sleep specifically or does it happen even when you’re fully rested?

Mostly after bad sleep nights for me, pinned it at 3 hours of sleep before I nearly lost it over coffee too. Full rested days feel normal even with the itch still there.

For me it’s less about the itch and more about what bad sleep does to patience in general, so I’d guess it’s regular tired-brain that the itch just makes worse. Even with calmer skin now I still get snappy after a rough night, so the two aren’t as tangled as they feel in the moment.

Under 4 hours of sleep and I’m snapping at everyone by noon, every time

I think it’s the exhaustion itself, itch or not. Any night under 5 hours and I’m short with everyone by noon, calm skin or flared up.

ugh, same, 2 hours of sleep and I nearly yelled at my cat for breathing too loud!

By 3pm I’m just as short, itch or not
