picked doodling back up on nights

My schedule flipped again this week, 3 night shifts back to back, and by the second one I couldn’t get my brain to slow down enough to sleep after, so I pulled out an old sketchbook I hadnt touched since around March.

Just doing small stuff, nothing fancy, mostly lines and shapes for about 15 minutes before I try to sleep around 9am. I used to draw a lot years ago adn kind of forgot about it, and it’s strange how much more it quiets my head after a shift than scrolling my phone ever does.

One of my coworkers asked why I looked so tired lately and I just said the schedule’s rough right now, didn’t get into the rest of it. Still figuring out how much I want people at work to know at this stage, this might just be me being extra careful this early on.

Anyone else pick up some small thing like that to get through a rough stretch of schedule changes?
