The interview email finally landed in my inbox around 9pm, days later than they said it would.
I’d basically stopped checking my phone for it because the waiting had me picking at my skin more than usual, so I picked up the yarn instead and got half a scarf done out of pure restlessness.
They want a second call next week. I said yes before I’d even reread the whole email properly (didn’t even ask about salary), which was probably not the smartest move but whatever.
Also opened my budget app again tonight for the first time in a while. Not going out much while job hunting means I’ve actually got some breathing room this month, which is a small win I wasn’t expecting.
Anyway. Small update, mostly just needed to put it somewhere other than my own head.
