Started a new scarf last night, half because I like the pattern and half because I needed something to do with my hands besides checking my email every 10 minutes.
It’s been 9 days since the interview and I’ve heard nothing, not even a rejection, which somehow feels worse than just being told no.
I always thought 2 weeks was the polite amount of time to wait before following up, but that feels like forever right now. Part of me wants to just send a short “just checking in” email and get it over with.
Started tracking my spending again too (badly, I already forgot to log Tuesday), so waiting around with no income coming in makes every little purchase feel bigger than it is.
Anyone have an actual rule for when it’s okay to follow up after an interview, or do you all just sit with the silence no matter how long it drags on?
