I keep opening my email for no reason, like it’s going to refresh itself into good news if I stare hard enough. picked the knitting back up to keep my hands busy instead of hovering over refresh, and it worked, for a while, then my brain wandered right back to it anyway.
went and opened the budget spreadsheet instead, which felt like a weird downgrade but at least it’s a distraction that does something useful. guess my hands calm down faster than my head does.
