left the tab open, knit instead

Filling out another application tonight and got stuck on the box asking why I want the role, like why do they need a whole essay for that. Shut the laptop and picked up the knitting instead, did a few more rows on the sleeve I keep putting off. Still didn’t finish it but at least my hands were doing something instead of just sitting there refreshing my inbox. Budget spreadsheet’s still open in another tab, untouched, probably will be for a while. Some nights you just knit instead of dealing with anything else, I guess.
