still on row 40, no reply yet

40 rows into this cardigan and still no word back from that interview. it’s been 9 days since the final round and I keep telling myself no news is good news, but my brain doesnt really buy that one. knitting is basically the only thing keeping my hands busy enough that I’m not refreshing my email every 10 minutes, though I did have to rip out a whole section last night because I miscounted stitches somewhere around row 20, and weirdly it felt kind of satisfying to fix a problem I actually had some control over for once. also reopened the budget app after leaving it untouched for way too long, and yeah, ignoring the numbers does not make them smaller, who knew. still have three other applications sitting in limbo too, one of them since August, so at this point I’ve basically stopped checking the status pages. anyway. back to counting stitches and pretending my inbox doesn’t exist.
