Had interview number 3 this month and still nothing back, just the same ‘we’ll be in touch’ email that never goes anywhere.
Sat down after and opened the budget app again, first time in probably 2 years, and just stared at how much of it was delivery apps. Not even judging myself out loud, just staring at the number.
Picked the scarf back up because my hands needed something to do that wasn’t refreshing my email. Somewhere around row 40-something now, honestly lost count a while ago.
Didn’t notice the flaking on my collar until after the interview, standing in front of the mirror changing out of the blazer. Great, add that to the pile too.
Some days it’s the skin, some days it’s the job search. Today decided to be both at once.
