Stood up after a 9 hour shift today and my back actually cracked when I straightened out. Not the most reassuring sound.
Pretty sure it’s from hunching over the register all shift, my shoulders have been rolling forward for like 3 weeks now and it’s starting to feel like the new normal.
Don’t really have the budget (or the space, tiny apartment) for a whole ergonomic setup right now, just a regular desk chair. Been doing some shoulder rolls on breaks but not sure it’s actually doing anything.
Anyone figured out a way to fix this without buying a bunch of gear? Like actual stretches or habit changes that helped, or did you end up needing the right chair to make a real difference?
