Finally opened my budget spreadsheet again tonight, first time in 4 months. I’d stopped looking at it because job hunting was draining everything I had left.
Third rejection landed this morning, before I’d even had coffee!
Been picking up knitting in the evenings instead of refreshing my email all night. Doesn’t fix anything but it gives my hands somewhere else to go that isn’t a job board.
Also finally sat down and actually looked at how much I’ve been spending without noticing. Not great. But at least I’m looking at it now instead of avoiding the whole thing.
Numbers aren’t pretty but they’re mine to deal with 🧶
