Reopened my old budget spreadsheet last night for the first time in ages and found a tab i’d just abandoned right around when my skin started acting up.
Kind of wild scrolling through it, seeing how much used to go toward takeout and random store runs versus now, which is basically the same few products on repeat plus the occasional dermatologist bill.
Made a new tab anyway. Felt weirdly steadying to just sit there typing numbers into boxes instead of thinking about job applications for once, still waiting to hear back and the quiet is getting to me some days.
Also picked knitting back up this week, mostly because my hands need something to do that isn’t scrolling rejection emails or poking at my face in the mirror. not making anything in particular, just a scarf that keeps getting longer.
small stuff, but it’s something.
