Flipped back onto nights this week and my whole body still thinks it’s the wrong time of day.
Slept from about 9am to 2pm, woke up groggy and honestly couldn’t tell if I should be eating breakfast or dinner. Tapering the steroid isn’t making the sleep any easier either, the itch tends to show up right when I’m finally drifting off.
Also keep chewing on how much distance to keep with the day shift crew. We only overlap for about an hour at handover and I don’t have it in me to make small talk, but I don’t want to seem cold about it either.
Did a bit of doodling in the break room around 3am just to feel like myself for 10 minutes. Small thing, but it helped.
