Went through my bank statement again tonight, trying to actually stick to this budget thing I started back up a few days ago.
Found a charge for $7.99 that’s been hitting every month since March and I genuinely could not tell you what it was for. Some app trial I signed up for and completely forgot about. That’s 7 months of it just sitting there unnoticed, which comes out to about $56 I basicaly threw away.
Cancelled it the second I saw it. Kind of annoyed at myself but also weirdly satisfied, like I caught something before it could do more damage. Kept thinking about how that money could’ve gone toward yarn instead, or just sat in savings where it belongs.
Also got a few rows done on the scarf after work tonight. Nothing exciting, just sat there with the tv on and let my hands do something that wasn’t scrolling.
Still no news on the interview front. but hey, one small thing fixed tonight. small win, I’ll take it.
