Went through the mail pile on the kitchen counter today, mostly bills I’d been letting sit.
Found the insurance renewal notice at the bottom. Premium’s going up $38 a month starting next cycle.
Work’s been slow this month so that landed a little rough. Freelance income is already uneven enough without extra costs showing up out of nowhere.
I keep meaning to sit down and actually compare plans instead of just renewing out of habit, but then a box needs taping or a client email pulls me away and it gets pushed again.
Boxes are still stacked by the door from the move too, so the mail just adds to the pile on that counter right now. One thing at a time I guess.
