Got a call back today, one of the applications actually turned into something. They want to do the interview next week, Tuesday at 10am, which feels both too close and too far away at the same time.
I’ve sent out 14 applications since September and this is only the second real response. The first one ghosted me after a first-round email, so I’m trying not to get ahead of myself about this one.
Spent the rest of the afternoon with a scarf in my lap instead of prepping answers, which is probably backwards, but it kept my hands from shaking while I replayed the call in my head. Figured I’d actually practice tomorrow instead.
