earlier cutoff, did it help?

remember that coffee cutoff question from last week — I moved mine up to late morning like a few of you suggested, since deadlines had me reaching for another cup every afternoon.

first few days it worked, tired enough by evening to actually fall asleep.

then last night happened. no coffee past noon, lights out early, and I was still running through tomorrow’s to-do list way longer than I wanted 🙂

woke up groggy anyway, which feels unfair after doing everything “right.”

is it the caffeine still lingering, or just stress keeping my brain switched on no matter what I cut?

stress — i stop by 11am, still happens

was the to-do loop still going at 1am?

yeah, mine was still looping around 1am too, didn’t actually quiet down till like 1:30… pretty sure it’s the stress part since it’s happened on coffee-free days for me as well

kind of skeptical it’s caffeine lingering that late, 9 or 10 hours after your last cup is well past when it’s doing much for most people, so I lean toward the stress explanation too, except I don’t think stress on its own tells the whole story either.

GlowGarden’s skepticism about the caffeine timing makes sense, 9 to 10 hours out is well past when it should still be doing much for most people. But I’m not fully convinced stress explains the whole thing either, at least not in my case.

probably both, kept me up till 1am too
