learning as I go

Dad here, new to this.

My son’s eczema has me up most nights, way past when everyone else is asleep.

Started actually building a routine about 3 weeks ago. Standing all day at work doesn’t help, and evenings are rough once I’m home dealing with flare-ups.

Packing up for a move on top of it all. Feels a little less lost than day one, at least.

The on-your-feet-all-day-then-flare-duty-at-night combo is brutal, my stress flares hit right when I finally sit down too. I was up checking things at 2am more nights than I want to admit before I got a ‘routine’ going. 3 weeks in already sounds like real progress, moving on top of it makes it so much harder!

Moving on top of a flare stretch is a lot… it took me about 6 weeks before nights got calmer

My evenings didn’t really calm down until about 9pm most nights once things settled in!

Packing up during flare duty sounds rough
