later start

Hi, I’m Dewdrop. New here.

My skin always gets worse when the seasons change, and this year it’s been about 3 weeks straight of flares while I’m splitting my days between grad classes and a part time job. Knitting in the evenings usually calms me down, even when my hands are having a rough night by the end of it.

Glad to be here.

3 weeks is rough, knitting helps me too

In my case it’s less about the season and more just the juggling – two things at once wears my hands out faster than any weather change does. Mine go rough after 2 hours of typing too

That tracks for me too, my hands are already stiff before I even pick up the needles by 9pm.

the season shift got me too, once the heat kicks on inside my skin dries out fast. I started keeping a humidifier running in the bedroom and it helps a bit with the itching. sounds like you’ve got a lot going on between classes and work, hope it eases up soon

honestly could be both, season change plus juggling 2 things at once

thanks for posting this, the knitting bit stuck with me. i’ve been out in my garden plot most evenings around 9pm this week and my hands feel about the same by the end of it

stacking grad classes and a job on top of a flare that won’t quit sounds draining, no wonder your hands are already stiff before you even pick up the needles. mine get like that after a long day too, some evenings i can barely make a fist by the time i sit down. glad you found something that still calms you down even when your hands are having a rough night.

Mine’s worse right at 9am some days – yours too at night?
