sitting with the cats

legs are swollen by the end of every shift, so lately i’ve just been sitting on the floor with the cats instead of scrolling.

not great at actually resting yet, but it’s something, i guess.

    i’d push back on calling that not resting, sitting still for 10 minutes after a long shift still counts even without the legs up on something

    QuietAcre, I hear you, but I think it depends on what the sitting actually is. For me, just stopping the body without quieting the head still does not feel like rest, it is just a pause with the engine still running.
