Packing for the move, going through the guest room stuff, and found a linen cushion cover I’d never actually used. Been sitting at this desk pretty much all day for work, and the polyester cover on my chair was making the back of my thighs itch by late afternoon, pretty much every day, no matter what lotion I put on that morning.
Swapped it for the linen one about 3 weeks ago. Not perfect, but the itching that used to kick in around 4pm most days basically stopped. Heat building up back there while I sit through meetings without getting up (a habit I’m trying to fix), I guess.
Also tossed the fleece throw that was on the chair, didn’t need it anyway, and two other cushions that were just sitting there. One less thing to pack too.
Not saying it’s the fabric alone, could be the season shifting some too… but 3 weeks with barely any afternoon itch is the longest stretch since summer ended.
