Blamed my chair for months. Turned out the problem was everything around it, not the chair itself.
Stacked some old books under the monitor so I’d stop tipping my chin down. Neck stopped aching by evening after that.
Pushed the keyboard and mouse in closer instead of leaving them out at the edge, so I’m not reaching forward all day without noticing.

Started standing for any call that doesn’t need the screen. Folding laundry while on hold counts too, if we’re being honest.
Keep a resistance band on the chair now, mostly for hiking on weekends, but I end up doing a few pulls between study sessions and it breaks up the sitting either way.
Still catch myself hunched over some evenings… but less stiff getting up, and I’m not reaching for the heating pad every night anymore.
