packing for the move and finally figured out what actually worked instead of just shoving stuff into boxes room by room.
sorted everything into 4 piles first – keep, sell, donate, trash. did it by category (all cables together, all mugs together) instead of going room to room, way less doubling back.
sold 11 old games I hadn’t touched in ages, made about $80 off that alone!
kept my desk for last since I’m still WFH through this, didn’t want to lose 2 days of work waiting on internet.
biggest thing that helped – labeling boxes with what’s ON TOP, not just a list of contents. saved me from tearing open a box just to find one charger.
took 3 weekends total instead of doing it all last minute like I usually do.
