My dad’s been in and out of specialist appointments lately, bloodwork mostly, and those waiting room chairs do nothing for my back on top of everything else. A few weeks ago I started walking a loop near radiology instead of sitting the whole time, it’s basically empty most mornings, not sure why but I’m not complaining.
About 4 minutes round trip, I do it twice while we wait. Felt weird at first honestly, but nobody notices or cares. My hips and lower back aren’t nearly as locked up by the time they call us in.
Not fixing my posture overall, still slouch through work and gaming after. But this one’s actually stuck, 3 weeks now, and it’s kind of nice to have somewhere to put the waiting energy instead of just sitting there!
